Daniel Wall was born in China in 1965 and began drawing and painting at the age of 4. His first art teacher was his mother, a talented and diligent self-taught artist. Wall earned numerous art awards in his childhood and was accepted into a fine art academy when he reached his teens. He went on to study in China, Italy and the United States. Wall immigrated to the U.S. in 1995 and has experienced continual success as an artist since with his “Intense Impressionism.”

Begins Drawing
Wall begins drawing and painting at the age of 4, inspired by his mother, a self-taught artist.
Attends College
At age 16, Wall attends Laiyang Teachers College, on a scholarship provided by the government to study art.
Graduates College
Upon graduating, Wall becomes a part time teacher at the school in his hometown.
Intense Impressionism
While teaching, Wall develops his innovative style, “Intense Impressionism,” so named due to its intense colors and bold strokes created by palette knives.
Immigrates to the United States
Wall immigrates to the United States with his wife, residing in Florida. He continues studying art in the U.S. as well as in Italy for three months.
Moves to North Carolina
Wall and his wife move to North Carolina. He graduates from Georgia Southern University with a master’s degree in computer science. He decides, however, to pursue a career as a professional artist.
Shangdong Fine Art Institute
Wall graduates from the Shangdong Fine Art Institute.
